2024-2025 CISD Calendar Feedback

Posted Date: 02/13/2024

In an effort to remain transparent with our 2024-2025 school calendar options, I wanted to provide you all with some of the survey results and provide feedback from survey comments.  Last night, Monday February 12th, a presentation was made to our Board of Trustees in open session providing them with the options and survey results along with information we have learned from other districts who have adopted a four day calendar.  Please find, attached for your review, calendar feedback addressing the following areas:

  • Student Meals
  • Instruction
  • Child Care Resources (district counselors will meet and gather community resources for those in need)
  • Extracurricular Activities
  • Proposed Calendars
  • Staff Survey Results
  • Current Results from Parent Survey (extended through Friday, February 16th at 4:00 p.m.)

 – Superintendent, Tommy Chalaire
